3 is a personal study of triplet sisterhood and identity.

The book consists of two parts. The first part is about the artist’s own sibling relationships: triplet sisterhood, identity, togetherness. In the book individuality and the artist’s own identity in relation to her sibling counterparts are examined. The theme of being an observer and observed intertwines with the experience of selfhood. The images are simultaneously intimate and distant. Many of the images in the book address selfhood with self-portraits as well as with references to nature. The book also contemplates thematic of invisibility, the core question being ´If alone, am I invisible? Who am I without my sisters?

Continuing where the first part of the book left off, also the second part explores identity and selfhood. Loneliness and togetherness are present through the artist’s personal experiences. The perspective shifts from her sisters, but also from other people. The series consists of self-portraits with her dog, which explore the relationship between human and animal, trust, and affection. The images for the second part were made during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020.

Both parts of the book reflect the importance of family connections and lifelong relationships.
