NB: Products which are part of a current exhibition or event will be made available for delivery after the end of the exhibition or event. Please take this into consideration when placing your order.
Shipping costs (domestic)
The delivery costs charged for the order depend on the product itself (e.g. size, weight, packaging) as well as the chosen delivery method. Delivery costs will be automatically added to the order total. You can view the shipping costs charged for your order in the shopping cart before confirming the order.
Books ordered online will be sent through Posti, while artworks ordered online will be sent as parcels through Matkahuolto. You can order products on the homepage of our online store by moving them to the shopping cart. You can then confirm the order and pay for the contents of the shopping cart through the payment service. Right of withdrawal
Cancellation of an order is possible up until the product has been sent to the customer and a written notification of its dispatch has been delivered to the customer. The cancellation notice from the customer must be sent clearly to our email below. When the work has already been sent to the customer, the following stipulations regarding the right of exchange and return shall be observed.
NB: With regard to works printed on demand for a customer’s order, the Association of Photographic Artists reserves the right to claim compensation for damages or costs caused by the order’s cancellation, such as unnecessary manufacturing costs, in accordance with Chapter 5 § 25 of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. Such products are detailed and itemised in the online store.
Right of exchange and return, and the conditions applicable thereto (distance selling)
The customer has a 14-day exchange and return right in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. The right of return only applies to unused and saleable products. The return period starts from the day the customer has received the order. The customer is obliged, when requested, to present a receipt from Posti or another transport service, which shows the date of receipt.
NB: There is no right of return for works that are cited as such in the customer’s order in accordance with Chapter 6, Section 16, Section 3 of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. The product information on the website of the online store states if the product does not include the right of return.
When returning the delivered order, include your name and contact information and your account number for the refund. The returner must pay the costs incurred for the return. These costs will not be reimbursed to the returner. Once the return is received, processed and approved, the money for the purchase will be returned directly to your account.
The customer agrees to treat the returned or exchanged product in their possession properly and in accordance with these terms and conditions, under threat of liability. The products to be returned must be in their original packaging, unused and well packed for the return shipping.
If the item is returned, it must be sent without delay and no later than 14 days after the date of receipt of the item. When requested, the returner must prove that the goods have been returned within the deadline.
As a result of the customer’s mishandling of the return (delayed return, damage, wear or destruction of the product to be returned or exchanged, for example, due to use or incomplete packaging or packaging contrary to instructions, or otherwise a return or exchange contrary to these conditions or the law), the broker reserves the right to take measures to reduce the purchase price refunded to the customer, to undertake any additional investigation(s) required, and to collect fees for transport costs and possible damages.
