A book presenting the works of photographer Rune Snellman (b. 1950) from 2015 to 2025. The book is titled Rune \u2013 My Time, as Snellman\u2019s photographs are divided into different periods of his life. The first exhibition, Ajanlasku (\u201cChronology\u201d), the second, Y\u00f6 on l\u00e4htemisen aika (\u201cNight Is the Time to Depart\u201d), the third, Min tid (\u201cMy Time\u201d), and so on.<\/p>\n
His images are deeply personal, initially reflecting his experiences as a father, and later as a man. He has also processed life-changing illnesses through photography. The book includes a visual CV.<\/p>\n
The photographs in the book span the time before and after the stroke he suffered in 2022. The period before focuses on Snellman\u2019s two hometowns, Kokkola and Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4. The photographs taken afterward center on a time when his experience of time and of the surrounding world became condensed into moments, where movement is essential.<\/p>\n
