In their photography, the artist uses a sheet of white paper to separate light from its surroundings. With the paper, they engage with its changing tones, reflections, and the shapes of shadows. Framed by the camera, the resulting rhythms, surfaces, and landscapes become a photograph, capturing a fleeting moment of observing the light.
