About the artist
Natalia Kopkina (b. 1984) is a Helsinki-based visual artist. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Photography from Aalto University in 2015 and has also studied theoretical philosophy at the University of Helsinki and photography at SVA in New York. In 2018, Kopkina founded the non-profit publishing house I am not Publishing to release artist books and other publications emphasizing photography and poetry. She is also a founding member of the Finnish Darkroom Association (Suomen Pimiötaiteilijat ry) and serves as the artistic director of the Helsinki Analog Festival.
