Ulla-Maija Alanen: Horizons of Water

Architect and photographic artist Ulla-Maija Alanen explores the underwater world, breathing in harmony with the water and the plants it sustains. For over a decade, she has been photographing in Finnish forest lakes, where the growth, bloom and eventual decay of water lilies unfold as powerful visions and quiet reflections. Alanen is joined by associate professor Susanna Pettersson and architect and professor Juhani Pallasmaa to discuss her photographic works.
