Welcome to the registration page for the Association of Photographic Artists’ new Print shop! 

We are happy to announce the launch of our Print shop this autumn. This is an exciting new opportunity for members to sell photographic art prints and gain exposure through our online shop (shop.hippolyte.fi). The annual selling period will begin on 10 November 2025.

The electronic registration form for members is open from 1 October until 24 October 2025.

How do I register?

To register, complete and submit the electronic form below by Friday 24 October 2025 at 23:59 (EET) – the deadline has been extended! The form is available in Finnish only.

Please read the instructions carefully before submitting the electronic form. Information cannot be changed once the form has been submitted. 

What can I submit?

You can submit up to five unframed prints, no bigger than A2 (420 x 594 mm). We will ask you for the following key information:

  • Title
  • Year
  • Technique
  • Size
  • Edition number
  • More editions/sizes available
  • Theme; colour(s); orientation
  • Artist biography
  • Artwork description

NB: The Print shop does not accept works that are framed or mounted (not including passepartouts) or larger than 420 x 594 mm.

Is there an entry fee or sales commission?

There is no entry fee. The sales commission (35%) is calculated based on the price of the work excluding VAT. When registering, please indicate whether you are liable for VAT, and include applicable business ID. The prices of the artworks should include any applicable VAT.

What terms do I agree to?

By registering your work for the Print shop 25/26, you agree to the following:

  1. You grant the Association of Photographic Artists permission to sell your works on your behalf.
  2. You grant the Association of Photographic Artists exclusive selling rights of the submitted prints for the first three months of the sales period, until 10 February 2026.
  3. You give the Association of Photographic Artists permission to use the uploaded images for promotion of the artworks and the Print shop platform
  4. You communicate clearly with the Association of Photographic Artists on all matters regarding the sale of prints
  5. You securely pack and send sold works within five working days of the notification of sale
  6. You cover any unforeseen costs involved in sending the artwork

What are my responsibilities?

  • The artist must provide a physical signed certificate of authenticity for each print.
  • The artist is responsible for dispatching the work in a timely manner (within five working days of the notification of sale).
  • The prints registered for sale must be readily available. If, in the event of sale, there is a delay in the artwork’s availability, please inform us.
  • The artist is responsible for securely packing and sending the purchased work to the buyer in collaboration with the association. The association will provide a prepaid postage sticker according to the buyer’s delivery choice selected at the online shop checkout.
  • The artist is liable for packing materials costs, as well as for postage or additional costs for the following: 1) oversized or fragile works, 2) if the item is sent via an alternative mode (not agreed upon with the association), and 3) if the item is not suitably packed/ damaged upon arrival.

Uploading an Image 

Print shop sales take place predominantly via our online shop (shop.hippolyte.fi). Please provide the highest quality image possible of each work. This image will be visible to the customer online. Images will also be used on social media channels in the marketing of the shop. The image size may not exceed 2 MB.

Our online shop is subject to the Consumer Protection Act and the customer has a 14-day right of return for online purchases.
