Anni Hanén’s series Sisältää ajatuksia hetkellisyydestä (Contains Thoughts on Transience) highlights the dialogue between plants and photographic art. Each work is a unique collage, combining a pigment print with experimental cyanotype. Hanén explores the relationship between nature and humans, as well as the passage of time. Transience is layered into the works through photographs, techniques, and materials, leaving traces of different eras. The cyanotype photograms are hand-printed, and change and variation form the core of the series, emphasising the uniqueness of each plant.
