“One day I bought an unblown white peony from an old woman at the market. It blossomed, showy and beautiful. On May 24th, I bought another and placed them side by side in glasses of water. The first kept unfolding while the second was just beginning. The next day they were equally radiant; two days later, the first withered, the second still bloomed.”

I love you is an art book about stages of maturity and about appreciating their natural manifestations, a documentary account of how the two particular peonies rhythms of life overlap.
