Saara Salmi: Rabbit (sarjasta About Alice and the Rabbit)
The art project About Alice and the Rabbit was inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. The photographic series is based on a fictional frame story, centred on a sketchbook inherited from the artist’s grandmother. Through its pages, the drawings and notes reveal a story of an underground Wonderland—one that differs from Carroll’s version: Alice and the Rabbit share a romance that turns out to be rather fateful.
